The morning and early afternoon are going to see spells of showery rain and they could be heavy in places especially in counties top the south of London. Along and close to the south coast the wind will be gale force with gusts to 50 or 60 mph. As the afternoon. Gradually the rain should move away to leave just a few well scattered showers mostly near south coast. Staying mild at 12C to 13C.

This evening and night it should be fine up to midnight with the wind dropping off and the temperature will fall to 6C in well sheltered valleys cooler than last few nights but cloud will tend to thicken by the early hours from the west with the wind strengthening as well.

Tuesday will have a wet windy morning but the afternoon will be drier though with a good deal of cloud but very mild and some places sheltered from the south-west wind may reach 15C.
